Who are we ?

AEGEE-Torino is a voluntary association founded in 1992 by a group of students from Torino. It is one of the local branches of AEGEE-Europe, a European network of interdisciplinary student associations with more than 15,000 members and 217 locations across Europe.

Locally, AEGEE-Torino is committed to spread the key values of the network, like Sustainability, Gender Equality and European Citizenship.

The purpose of AEGEE-Torino is to promote and develop an active European citizenship among young people and to facilitate their mobility in Europe.

To achieve our objectives, we organize conferences, courses, round tables, research and other events on European social issues such as multilingualism, enlargement and diversity. Over the past 4 years more than 6000 young people have participated in 40 different local and international projects. All our projects focus on integrating the educational tools of formal education with non-formal and informal educational activities. The members of AEGEE-Torino are all young people between 18 and 35 years old who actively cooperate for the realization of the main projects.
